Pond Springs Cemetery Gets Assistance From Northwest Fellowship Church

On Sunday afternoon the young adult group of Northwest Fellowship Ministries came to the aid of Pond Springs Cemetery. The group washed and cleaned 2 large headstones, picked up trash and dead limbs, worked on removing vines that had grown into the chain link fence, and worked vigorously with wire brushes on the iron fence of P.L. and Agness Stewart to prepare the fence for a future painting. Removing the vines from the chain link fence and scraping the rust from the plot fence was very tedious and time-consuming work. A few people dropped by to ask what was going on and wound up asking for advice about cleaning headstones. The group attracted lots of attention toward the cemetery. We were even brought water by a resident of the apartment complex. We thank her for her effort for we had run out of water. After all work was stopped Buster Ferguson gave a tour of the cemetery giving some incite and knowledge of the residents lives.  We the members of the PSHCA would like to thank the following individuals of the Northwest Fellowship Church, which is located at the corner of Anderson Mill Road and Pond Springs Road for the work and blessing given to the cemetery: Dani Dean, Kenny Green, Terri Barnes, Chris Barnes, Tyler Schuetze, Chris Adams, Stephanie Worcester, Bobby Sharp, Rayna Carlock, Stephen Carlock, Lindsay Kent, and Gabi M.
