Meet the Glenns

Many thanks to descendant Glenna for the first four photos.  The last two photos were obtained from

On the horse: Beulah Alpha GLENN. Likely it is her brother holding her, and I believe Mr. and Mrs. John Paisley Glenn are on the porch. Taken at GLENN Family Ranch, Bull Creek, ca. 1899-1900. Click to enlarge.

GLENN - L to R, Unknown, Unknown, John Paisley Glenn, Sarah Elizabeth Walden Glenn, Cody Mood Bell Sr, Beulah Alpha Glenn Bell ca 1925-1927. Click to enlarge. I can't be certain, but it looks like Mr. and Mrs. Glenn are wearing the same outfits as in the photo below; this might have been taken at the same time and place.

  1. Thank you so much for honoring our family in such a meaningful and lovely way! It just warms my heart to see the changes to the Pond Springs Cemetary over the past ten years, since I started visiting it.

I am so grateful to the Board and all the volunteers for making our relative’s resting place an area of peace and beauty. I know they ALL are looking down from Heaven with much appreciation for all that you have done.

    Thank you again!

  2. I just visited Pond Springs cementery a week ago. I have never been there before. Mary Catherine Murdock Glenn who is buried there is my great great grandmother. My family appreciates the work that has been done there. I would like to attend one of your meetings and help with the upkeep.

    • Thank you very much, we really could use more input in our meetings, as well as sweat equity on site ! Our next meeting will be at 2 pm on Sunday October 6th, at the Denny’s at the “intersection” of 183 North and Lakeline Blvd (Target Shopping Center). You don’t need any special permission to clean up the site; if you want to help mow that is our biggest need; just show up when you can with a mower and/or some trash bags and/or several gallons of water for the water barrel. I drove by there today and the Walden section really could use mowing. But we will take whatever we can get. Thanks.
